We made sure the yard is secure and he LOVES being let out back without a leash. He begs to go out all the time, just so he can run around, smell the flowers, and chase birds. He also comes immediately when we call him back inside, so he's developing really good listening habits.

He has his own special area of the house, near the front window on his personal couch/chair. When he's not outside chasing birdies or cuddling with us, he's always looking out the window at the squirrels and birds.

He also LOVES his daily walks. If it gets later than usual and we haven't taken him out yet, he lets us know by pawing and relentlessly kissing us. He already knows the exact route that we take when we walk. He seems to have a very good sense of direction!

He has really blossomed since he first arrived. He's very playful with us, comfortable going up the outside stairs (not the inside stairs yet), jumping onto furniture, and he frequently has zoomies out of happiness. He's also comfortable with being picked up (he doesn't like it, but he'll let us do it when necessary). For a while, he was hesitant whenever we approached him or tried to give him kisses, but now he knows that we only want to care for him and love him, so he loves the attention. He enjoys when we're all on the couch together, lying between us, sometimes taking a little snooze.

He also gets bossy sometimes when we're not moving fast enough for him, for example, when he wants to go outside to visit his bird friends, he'll jump against the door and give us a stern look. He is SO cute, we love him so much! Thank you so much for running such a positive organization and for bringing Rudy into our lives!
