When Cosmo first came home with us last fall, he was a little shy. Adjusting to a new environment (and country and language!) was confusing, but he quickly began to love his routine of long walks in the park in the morning. After a few weeks, he grew more comfortable navigating our home and playing with his toys in his new space. By the end of our first month with him, he was a playful, loving dog!
There is so much joy having Cosmo around. He loves to snuggle up with us and tag along on our adventures. He loves to play Hide n' Seek in our home, which is one of our favorite games as a family. He's also such a cutie — I will never tire of being woken up to his kisses.
Never Alone was a great partner in finding Cosmo. The adoption process was clear, smooth, and safe. Our Volunteer Coordinator talked us through what to expect and made sure we were prepared for dog ownership, which we really appreciated.
It's important to make sure you're prepared for the costs and responsibility of owning a dog. You will become their whole life, so it's important to make sure you're ready to put them first at all times, even when it's inconvenient for you.
Cosmo is my family! Adopting Cosmo has been the best decision my partner and I have made together. We find that every day with him is more fun and joyful.
